Project Description :
The Ryebrook 110kV GIS Substation is located to the rear and to the NW at Intel Plant, Leixlip, Co. Kildare. The Substation major works element is outlined as follows:

  • Five 110kV Cable Bays
  • Two 110kV Wing Coupler Bays
  • A double 110kV Busbar
  • Eleven Transformer Bays
  • Six 110kV Sectionaliser Bays
  • Substation Control Building, including Control / Protection
  • Room, Battery Room and WC
    An SCS Micro SCADA based Substation Control System
