    Kergord – Gremista 132kV Trident Line

    Tasked with erecting a grand total of 275 poles throughout the project, the team are happy to announce that they have wrapped on this portion of the project. Next up they will finish up the wiring works, having already strung 197 spans of the 272 total

    Fort Augustus – ASTI

    The ASTI project team have been working with SSEN on key substations including the 400kV upgrade at Fort Augustus which includes, as part of the overall scope, the construction of a 53,000 sqm platform extension, building a new 400kV GIS hall and an upgrade of the existing 275kV GIS.

    Hawton & Staythorpe Grantham Projects Completed

    During the project we had both internal and external audits which the team received high praise for. Shane Doughty, Site Manager and the team of over 30 completed the project extremely efficiently and overcame challenges when they arose, eliminating any impact to the programme.

    Ballykeel Update

    Sunny skies over on energisation day at Ballykeel wind farm in Larne, Northern Ireland. Our Renewables team were key in connecting the 7 turbine 16MW wind farm project to the grid after taking on the design, installation, and commissioning of the HV switchgear and switchboard as well as the control & protection and telecomms.

    Lenalea Update

    On the 3rd of August, Omexom Ireland successfully energised Lenalea 110kV/33kV substation in Co. Donegal, Ireland. The Lenalea windfarm project included a 4 bay 110kV AIS substation, 2 110kV OHL connection circuits, 110/33kV Transformer, 33kV switchgear and reactive power compensation.
